Tim was appointed CEO of the Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty Zone and the Kia Magic in December 2012. With a background in sports management, he is committed to producing the best results for netball in the Zone by creating an environment which will foster and drive success for high performance athletes.
Based on his experience at a regional, national and international level across a number of sports including basketball, rugby and netball, he has a strong understanding of sport in New Zealand and is determined to make a difference in the sporting landscape based on principles that are values based and people focused.
Tim was educated at Tauranga Boys High School and Otago Boys High School and worked in the insurance industry for 14 years before embarking on a career into sport.
