Jan comes from the health sector where she is involved in the development of strategic plans for the Midland Region. She is presently a member of the Bay of Plenty District Health Clinical Board and has spent time as a School Board of Trustee. Jan's involvment in netball has been in Western Australia and in New Zealand where she has played, coached and been involved through various committee roles. Jan is presently helping with the coaching of Otumoetai College A. She is one of the NBOP Representaitves on Waikato Bay of Plenty Netball Franchise Limited.
